How do I move money and send money online with Univest?
Univest offers numerous ways for you to move money, but it all depends upon your goal in moving money. Please use the information below to understand the best way to move money with Univest.
Does Univest have Automated Teller Machines (ATM) in my part of the country?
Univest owns ATM's exclusively in southeastern Pennsylvania. Univest is also a part of Allpoint, America's Largest Surcharge-Free ATM Network. You can find the closest Allpoint ATM to you by using Allpoint's ATM locator page.
What surcharges will I incur with a Univest ATM or MasterMoney® Debit card?
You may use other banks' ATM's with your Univest ATM or MasterMoney® Debit card who are part of the STAR or PLUS ATM networks (logos are on the back of your Univest card and on the ATM's). Univest will not charge you any fees or surcharges for transacting business with your ATM or MasterMoney® Debit card against your Anytime Online Savings or Anytime Online Checking accounts. However, the owner of the ATM machine may still levy a surcharge against your Univest account for using their ATM. Univest does not reimburse for ATM surcharge fees. Instead, Univest joined Allpoint, America's Largest Surcharge-Free ATM Network. You can find the closest Allpoint ATM to you by using Allpoint's ATM locator page.
IMPORTANT...If you already have a Univest MasterMoney® Debit or ATM card, and you want to use the Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network, you will need to request a new Univest card. Please see the next question and answer section below for further information.
Tip...Use your MasterMoney® Debit card to get cash back when you use the card to pay for a point of sale purchase. That way, you can avoid surcharge fees from ATM's.
How do I request an ATM card or a MasterMoney® Debit card?
MasterMoney® Debit cards are available with checking accounts only. Once you have a MasterMoney® Debit card you may add any savings accounts onto that card. However, savings accounts may only have ATM cards issued and may not be used for point of sale transactions. You may request an ATM card or a MasterMoney® Debit card when you apply for your your Anytime Online Savings or Anytime Online Checking account(s) online. You may also request an ATM card (savings only) or a MasterMoney® Debit card by using the links below. After you submit the appropriate web form below, you will receive your card within 10 business days. Please note that ATM cards and MasterMoney® Debit Cards are not issued until there is at least $100.00 deposited into the associated account, AND Univest has received your signature card for the account.
How can I deposit money into my Univest checking or savings accounts?
When you apply for a Univest deposit account online, you will be offered several methods to initially fund the account (must select a funding method). Once your Univest deposit account is opened, there are several ways that you can deposit funds into your Univest checking or savings account.
- U.S. postal mail (see Contact Us for address)
- ATM deposit. Allpoint ATM's do not accept deposits. See the STAR ATM Locator to find ATM's where you can deposit money surcharge free.
- Direct deposit (your Univest deposit account number and Univest's routing number - 031913438 are needed)
- Anytime Online Funds Transfer
How can I withdraw money from my Univest checking or savings accounts?
Once your Univest deposit account is opened, there are several ways that you can withdraw funds from your Univest checking or savings account.
Can I use paper checks with the Anytime Online Checking account?
Yes, you can use paper checks with the Anytime Online Checking account. Checks can be ordered through Univest when the online account application is filled out ($23.75 for 120 checks), or you may order your checks on your own through another vendor. There is no limit on the number of checks written. There is no per check fee.
How do the online account application and opening processes work?

- Enter your personal information
- Setup your security information so that you can log back into the site to apply for other accounts in the future
- Agree to the terms of the account application
- Answer the challenge questions used to verify your identity
- Specify your account funding
Once your application has been submitted, you will received an e-mail with your online application number. Your application will be processed and your account opened by the close of the next business day. You will be notified by e-mail when your account is open and available. Your account number(s), online banking ID, etc. can be obtained completely online via the instructions found in the notifying e-mail.
How do I setup direct deposit to my Univest account?
To setup direct deposit to your Univest account, you need to supply your employer or paying organization with three pieces of information:
- Univest's ABA Routing Number: 031913438
- Your Univest checking or savings account number
- Name of the bank: Univest National Bank and Trust Co.
