Univest is unique in the online banking arena. Univest offers a comprehensive suite of products and services for personal bank accounts online. Univest offers both the Anytime Online Savings account and the Anytime Online Checking account. Both online bank accounts offer high-yield, no-fee personal bank accounts that you can open together or separately. We do not require you to have one account to open the other. Univest also offers a 1-Year High-Yield Online CD so that you can maximize your savings dollars.
Business and Non-Profit Online Banking Products
Univest is also different in the online banking arena because Univest offers two online business banking products and services. These deposit accounts are perfect for the small business or non-profit organization. Univest's Recommended Online Banking Strategy
Univest understands that sometimes online banking is not as clear as it should be, especially if you are new to online banking or looking to change banks. How you bank online with Univest is completely flexible and in your control, but in order to help you think it all through, here is how Univest recommends that you bank with us.
Open Checking Accounts Online - Open an online checking account, pay a bill or two online via the NetTeller online banking tool. If you need checks, order paper checks for your Univest online account (yes, we do allow paper checks to be used with our online checking accounts). Order a MasterMoney® Debit card for surcharge-free cash access at ATM's and point-of-sale purchases.
Open Savings Accounts Online - Open an online savings account, keep more of your excess money in the savings account in order to maximize your interest, transfer money easily and without delays between your online checking and savings account via the NetTeller online banking tool. Once you are comfortable, use the Anytime Online Funds Transfer tool to bring money into your Univest accounts from other accounts you may have. If you are ready, you can open the savings account at the same time as the checking account.
Set Up Recurring Savings, Deposits, and Bill Payments - Once you are convinced that Univest online banking is for you, set up recurring savings transfer from other accounts you may still have and change automatic deposits such as your employer's direct deposit to go directly into your Univest accounts. Add your remaining bill payments to the online bill pay system in NetTeller.
